About Me...

I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI, The Children’s Book Illustrators Group (CBIG) of NY, The Village Fine Arts Association and the Huron Valley Council for the Arts in Michigan. My first illustrated picture book was published in 2008 titled “The Harp Mouse Chooses her Home: The Adventure Begins” written by Diane E Dunn. I have just wrapped up the illustrations for “The Enchanted Tree of Crooked Lake” written by Rachel Longhurst, author of “Where My Story Begins”. "The Enchanted Tree of Crooked Lake" is now in production and I'm currently working on the illustrations for the next book in the Harp Mouse series, written by Diane E Dunn, while fulfilling portrait commission requests for my clients. 

I own ArtQwerks studio in Mi and devote full time to children’s book illustrating, people and pet portrait making and fArCiCaL fOlK aRt creating.

I have been drawing and painting since almost before I was born. I used to write and illustrate my own books in elementary school and trade them to classmates for candy and gum, but most days pocket change. When I grow up I want to fill books with my illustrations for children to enjoy all over the world and beyond...
